THANK YOU FOR YOUR PURCHASE! YOU’RE JUST A FEW STEPS AWAY FROM RECEIVING YOUR WEDDING WEBSITE TEMPLATE.

  1. Please create a Wix account (if you don’t already have one).

  2. Set a password and make sure you can successfully log in to your account at www.wix.com.​

Once your account is ready, fill in the form below with the email address linked to your Wix account. Your website template will be transferred to the account linked to that email.

​

Important:

  • A transfer email from Wix will be sent to your inbox.

  • You’ll need to accept the transfer to add the site to your account.

  • The transfer link expires after 3 days, so please make sure to accept it in time to avoid delays.

  • The site will be transferred within 24 hours.

WIX WEDDING WEBSITE TEMPLATE GUIDE

Receive & Open your website

Once the site appears in your Wix account, you can rename it, open it, and start editing to make it your own.

Edit Your Pages

  • Navigate to the top-left menu → Select Page you want to edit

  • Click on text to update your wording.

  • Click images to replace with your own photos.

Edit Your Event Details

  • Go to Events page → click on event “Laura & Ryan” → Manage Event

  • Click Laura & Ryan → Edit Details

  • Update names, date, time, and location → Save

Edit Page Design

  • Click on any page element (text boxes, headings, images, buttons)

  • Edit text directly, replace images, or move elements around

  • ✨ Tip: For the best look, try to edit text and images only. Keep fonts, colors, and layout as they are — this preserves the elegant design of the template.

Preview & Publish

  • Click Preview to check your updates

  • Click Publish when you’re ready to share your site

✅ You are all set!

Note: A Wix subscription is only needed if you want your own custom domain (so the Wix banner is removed). This is completely optional — your site will still work perfectly without it. You can start or cancel a subscription directly with Wix at any time.

HOW TO ACCESS YOUR GUEST LIST

→ Go to www.wix.com

→ Log in using your details

→ Click “events” in the left bar.

→ Click on the three dots icon

→ Go to “view guests”.

→ Access your guest list, RSVP answers, as well as their other comments and preferences.

→ Click on the download arrow button to download your guest list.

HOW TO UPGRADE YOUR WIX WEDDING WEBSITE PLAN (FOR A CUSTOM DOMAIN & REMOVAL OF WIX ADS)

This step is optional (at an additional monthly fee directly on wix)

STEP 1: LOG IN TO YOUR WIX ACCOUNT

  • Visit the Wix website and log in using the credentials you used to create your wedding website.

STEP 2: NAVIGATE TO THE UPGRADE PAGE

  • Once logged in, navigate to your website's dashboard.

  • Look for the "Upgrade" button or option. It's usually located in the top-right corner of the screen.

​

 

STEP 3: CHOOSE YOUR PLAN (CHOOSE THE MOST BASIC PLAN OPTION)

  • After clicking on the Upgrade button, you'll be directed to a page where you can see the available plans.

  • Select the most basic plan that suits your needs. This plan will allow you to remove Wix ads and connect a custom domain.

STEP 4: LINK YOUR CREDIT CARD

  • After choosing the plan, you'll be prompted to enter your payment details.

  • Select "Credit Card" as your payment method and enter your credit card information.

  • Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the payment process.

STEP 5: CONFIRM YOUR UPGRADE

  • Once your payment is processed, you'll receive a confirmation message indicating that your plan has been successfully upgraded.

​

 

STEP 6: CONNECT YOUR CUSTOM DOMAIN

  • After upgrading your plan, you can now connect your custom domain to your website.

  • Go to your website's dashboard and navigate to the "Domains" section.

  • Follow the prompts to connect your domain. You can purchase a domain through Wix.

HOW TO CANCEL YOUR PLAN AFTER THE WEDDING

STEP 1: LOG IN TO YOUR WIX ACCOUNT:

  • Visit the Wix website and log in using your credentials.

 

STEP 2: ACCESS YOUR BILLING SETTINGS

  • Once logged in, navigate to your account settings.

  • Look for the "Billing & Payments" or "Subscriptions" section.

 

STEP 3: MANAGE YOUR SUBSCRIPTIONS

  • In the billing settings, you'll see a list of your active subscriptions.

  • Find the subscription for your website plan and click on it to manage it.

 

STEP 4: CANCEL YOUR PLAN

  • Look for the option to cancel your plan. It's usually labeled as "Cancel Subscription" or "Downgrade Plan."

  • Follow the prompts to confirm the cancellation. You may be asked to provide a reason for canceling.

 

STEP 5: CONFIRM CANCELLATION

  • After confirming the cancellation, you'll receive a confirmation message indicating that your plan has been canceled.

  • Your website will revert to the free plan, and any associated benefits of the paid plan will be removed.
